JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 23, 2022) – A Jacksonville woman today became the 10,000th person to complete proton therapy at the University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute. Dacia Starratt, a 47-year-old native of Jacksonville’s Oceanway neighborhood, had 32 daily treatments over a 6- to 7-week period for breast cancer.
