Dan Stokes received prostate cancer treatment at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute six years ago. He continued his hobby of Land Speed Racing (LSR) following treatment. There was no way a cancer diagnosis and treatment were going to slow him down and stop him from racing his truck, which he lovingly refers to as “Mutt.”

Kerri Copeland Jarrell, APRN

Kerri Copeland Jarrell, APRN is a radiation oncology nurse practitioner with the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. Her focus is on supporting patients in their survivorship journey after the completion of proton therapy radiation. Ms. Jarrell has over twelve years of experience working with adults, with a focus on educating patients to improve their health and well-being.

Toni Ruffino, APRN

Toni Ruffino, APRN is a radiation oncology nurse practitioner at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. Her role is dedicated to supporting patients in their survivorship journey after the completion of proton therapy radiation. Ms. Ruffino has over 16 years of experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner, supporting patients to improve their health and proactively care for their physical and emotional needs.
