Kristin A. Heath, DBA, MBA, MHA
Executive Director
Dr. Heath brings more than 20 years of clinical and operations experience in radiation oncology and proton therapy to the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. As Executive Director, she leads and implements the strategic vision and goals of the Institute and ensures the highest levels of clinical quality, technology, infrastructure, and workforce excellence.
She has a Doctor of Business Administration, a Master of Healthcare Administration, and a Master of Business Administration from Bellevue University. Her education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Services Administration, an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology/Science – Radiographer, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Santa Fe College.
Heath most recently led as Director of Operations, Radiation Oncology at the Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida. Her previous roles include Clinical Director of Technical Services at the Texas Center for Proton Therapy at Texas Oncology and Chief Radiation Therapist at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. She is a member of the board of directors and an executive committee member of the National Association for Proton Therapy.
